The presentation of the hotel room where great, it was clean & in a great location. Just check the room before checking in. I only say low to comfort due to our first night after the room change comfort was good.

The 1st night we arrived our room was so small we could only sit on the bed, this room should be a single. We were relocated to another room the following day which was better. The gym has 2 items no room for anything else. Best not to say they have a gym!

Very nice location, just 3-5 min away form Bawswater or Queensway. Friendly and helpfull staff. But my single deluxe room was too small. But i was warned that its typical for London. But room has very nice design, there r plasma, good bathroom. I stayed there for 3 days and it im happy that have choosen Shaftesbury Notting Hill. I ll go to London again in October and think to stay there again.

The hotel was very clean and the bathroom was beautifully finished.

Th air conditioning unit in our room leaked so we had a wet carpet and
had to turn it off. Also because we were so close to the lift we could
hear a constant banging from the lift mechanism.

It was clean. Maybe the first floor rooms is great with big windows and
balconies.

The room on top flor 4 was too hot, and the a/c was on and pushing air,
but not lowering the room temperature. When we put it of the room even
got less hot. Two times we reported the a/c and how hot it was in the
room though it wasn't more than 18-20 degrees outdoor. The window was
small and not possible to open. As we had a "club room" we expected
better, but shower was good..

A great 4* hotel at a great price for cental London

My double room was a little small - had to keep negotiating with the bed and the wall to move around.

The air con vents were right outside my bedroom window and made an horific noise all night - which kept me awake a good part of it.And I needed a good nights sleep in preperation for an important meeting the following day

The room was the smallest one I have every stayed in and I could not see outside (no window)...like being stored in a broom closet!
